Alaskan Husky
Alaskan Huskies are a breed of sled dog. It is not a breed officially recognized by the American Kennel Club, and thus it also does not have any breed standards. They're bred and born to be sled dogs, and as such their traits have been selected to be good for that.
Alaskan Malamute
Alaskan Malamutes were orgininally bred for strength and endurance, and is similar to other arctic breeds like the ones we have at the rescue. They're well known for their fluffy, curly tails.
Alaskan Klee Kai
Alaskan Klee Kai dogs are companion-sized; they tend to be curious and agile, and while they're known for being clever, they're also known for being rather stubborn at times. Their name comes from the Athabaskan language and means "little dog".
Samoyed
Samoyed dogs are medium-sized herding dogs knwon for their thick white coats. Their name comes from the Samoyedic peoples of Siberia who domesticated their ancestors. These dogs are also known for their friendly and agreeable disposition.
Greenland
Greenland dogs are sled dogs originating from none other than Greenland. In Greenlandic, they're known as "Kalaallit Qimmiat". This dog is considered important to the country of its namesake, to the point where in certain areas of Greenland, it's illegal to import any dog from the outside (with some exceptions).
